this is definately not a greylag goose as it was smaller in size than greylag (you can see in the photo attached)
and also note the orange coloured legs in contrast to pink of greylag
see the white colour at the base of two birds standing upright in the photo of the flock.
infact it is very difficult to seperate it in large flocks of greylag and bar headed goose and it is often overlooked.
it is passage migrant at pong wetland and stay for few weeks and as many as 50-70 birds may be seen .
this sunday their number was 25.
