(delhibirdpix) Nilgiri Blue Robin (Formerly treated as White-bellied Shortwing)

This near threatened Nilgiri Blue Robin (Myiomela Major), formerly The White-bellied Shortwing (Brachypteryx Major), was sighted near Ooty in May 2012, on the heavily trafficked Karnataka Highway in the undergrowth by a small creek. He sang and sang his heart out, and sang with such fervor as if it was his last song or dance, another blessed moment in my life.
