Here I attached the image of European white Stork-Ciconia ciconia taken from Polachira Wetlands(Kollam District,Kerala,India) during 13th January 2013 while attending Asian Waterfowl Census Conducted by Warblers and Waders(Bird and Nature lovers group),Trivandrum,Kerala,India.
European White Stork-Ciconia ciconia, a rare winter visitor of Kerala. Three individual birds were recorded .R.Jayaprakash, S.S.Ratheesh and Dr.Abhiram Chandran eminent bird watchers and members of Warblers and Waders recorded this rare winter visitor from Polachira Wetlands(13th January 2013). This is the first sight record of this bird from Polachira wetlands of Kollam District. with warm regards
