The Shikra continued to keep its hold on the Pipit for another 15 odd mins without going for the final kill... You can see the last cries from the Pipit in the below image before the Shikra cut its head in one go ! and started eating its prey.
Not Great photographs but guess this is how they Shikras hide their catch inside dense foliage to secure their meal from other scavengers

Just 5 mins after finishing off the lizard, the Shikra swooped down on the ground and caught a Paddy field pipit. !! It took the prey inside the bush and held on to the prey... The pipit was still alive and calling !

The Juv successfully hunted a garden lizard and started scanning for its next prey.
Species : Shikra - Accipiter Badius
Location : Bangalore, Karnataka, India
Equipment : Canon 1DM4, 300mm F/2.8 with 2x converter.
