Been to Lonavala for office conference in end of August 2013. It was
misty and drizzling all the time with few heavy showers thrown in
between. In short no regular birding was possible and I was restcited
to do some birding through the Hotel's window whenever it was
possible.
The Indian Blackbird is the only bird showed up regularly. Indian
Blackbird is known to be fairly common in Lanavala duirng monsoon
when they breed there. Other birds included White-cheeked Barbet,
Small Minivet, Pied Bushchats, Jungle Bablers, Eurasian Crag Matin
etc.
On 26.08.2013.
Cheers !!
