Hi,
Day before yesterday, my long awaited dream of seeing a Barn Owl came true when this beautiful guy landed on the same spot where I have spotted Spotted Owl few days back (on a swing for kids in the adjacent park). As in the park, the light is there , and I know that owls use the artificial lights as aid to hunt in night, this spot have become my fav. spot for seeing owls , though they remain there for a very short time , as park is small and have very few rodents.
The light and the pole draws them to this location, though they get dissapointed by not finding enough prey here.
In childhood , I have always spotted owl sitting on the shade of ajacent building but then was too small to know the owl .
Now I desire that period would come back.
Unmatched White Beauty , I suppose fully grown Adult. From my home near Delhi Cantt.
