Here I attached the picture of
European Roller-Coracias garrulus smenow.A passage migrant bird to the subcontinent.Rare Vagrant to Kerala.Near threatened species(IUCN Red List).
I had a great opportunity to watch and photographed this rare and vagrant winter visitor of Kerala at Madayipara(Kannur,Kerala,India) during 27th September 2013.May be this year first winter sighting from Madayipara.
I am grateful to Mr.Rajeevan.P.C,a great bird enthusiast for his outstanding field support and encouragement.I am thankful to my friend Anooj for his field support and encouragement.
