(delhibirdpix) Trumpeter Finch

This bird was photographed somewhere near Bikaner. I had spent two
days searching for this rare bird around Fulay village in Kutch but
was unsuccessful. On a visit to a rural area near Bikaner, I was about
to depart for Bikaner when I saw a strange looking bird sitting on a
barbed wire. A closer look revealed that it was a different bird. It
later turned out that it is a Trumpeter Finch which was earlier seen
in Gujarat. I am not aware of its previous record in Rajasthan. A
lifer.
