Dear friends thank you so much for your time to dug out information on ( Saxicola ferreus ) . This bird confused 4 of us(Chandra,Manish and Akhila ) on 4th December while exploring JNU Campus on pooling day birding. We all chased it as it was regularly calling and flying up and down within the bushes.This Himalayan, fairly common bird is little uncommon within Delhi with only three previous records .

4- JNU Campus -New Delhi by ( Chandra,Manish,Akhila & Your's Truly ) 4th December -2013 .We all photographed and seen this lovely female.
For NCR records the bird has been sighted in SNP ( 2006) Debashish Deb & Anand Arya coincidentally Anand Arya spotted and photographed female on 4th Dec. 2013 from Surajpur ( UP) Soma Ateesh Tripathy also quoted a record of 2012 from Bhindawas .
