Dear Friends, posted earlier two three pictures and requested to friend about lemon yellow patch at ear coverets.and some friends had commented as juvenile .as juv.birds has yellow colors arround eye ear throat.(thanks to adeshji and saurabhbhai for that)i or we had not never seen lemon patches on juv/ad Graceful Prinia.but at that time we had agreed .while checking the pictures i had seen some same species bird which were looking little different.posting here mixed picture.
please check this mixed picture of same day same time(if needed will post separately).
pl.see the difference in eye,bird without lemon patch has duller/lighter eye,wing/tail color,-without lemon patch bird has lighter wing/tail. beak,without lemon patch bird has pink lower mandible while other has yellow.can without lemon patch bird be a juvenile???
then which plumage is of lemon yellow patch bird. or is it any other bird or subspecies?
if yellow color is due to pollen,then it must be on forhead,beak etc.had posted before many days too this birds pictures but that was not so close up pictures.
i hope all friends will help to clear the confusion.
