Habitat: Submerged Narrow Leaf Cat-tail plants Typha angustifolia.
Status: Least Concern
Remarks: The numbers of these visitors seem to have gone up here. On this day six-seven individuals were noticed at Basai. The birds were calling from behind the thick foliage of the reeds, so we waited till they exposed themselves. As usual, they were found flitting and exploring around the surface of water. On two occasions they were seen chasing each other.
