Species : White-throated Brown Hornbill (Ptilolaemus austeni)
-- Place : 5-6 km before Haldibari Camp, Namdapha NP, Arunachal Pradesh, India
Date : 31 December 2013
The wing flap sound effects made us run back and forth to catch a glimpse of these beautiful Hornbills. All pairs of eyes were scanning the tree tops and finally we found them perched vertically above us. After feeding from a fruiting tree, they chose to bask in the sun, preening and gave us very good views.
