A sighting to celebrate, I believe.
Identified by Nikhil Bhopale with whom we were travelling.
The accompanying local guide, Jayanto, informed that most sightings of the owl have been reported from Avecinnia rich forest patches.
We were able to photograph the bird only when the boat was moving. The bird flew away the moment the boat was stopped. We believe that we saw two specimen in the same patch during that period.
