(delhibirdpix) BBD-14- 'Great Gift'

' MODERATORS PLEASE EXCUSE ME FOR CROSS POSTING'  It was indeed  in wish list to photograph this 'one of the smallest Snake of the world' .The Brahmini Blind Snake also called Blind Worm Snake. The species is often confuse with Earth Worms and usually seen during monsoon but Big Bird Day brought this gift for many of us .I was about to step on it when Thejus shouted mind your step .I got  stand still .The beauty was basking  in the sun. I can't describe my happiness to see and photograph this 4 inches long snake from Sanjay Van. We have seen them earlier but dead and crushed . The snake is 'Hermaphroditic' like earthworms. Hope you all enjoy it. One can see the scales on the body.
