(delhibirdpix) Great Bittern

Hi Everyone,

This is my first ever post on this forum, on the insisitence of my friend Atul Jain.

We had this fortunate sighting of Great Bittern at Dighal wetland yesterday morning. The sighting was immediately celebrated by an impromptu victory dance by Atul Jain and little later by clinking the papercups filled with Egg-nog [ courtsey Ramgopal].

Amitava and Ramgopal have taken some very good pictures of the bird. I am sharing a record shot taken from my point and shoot cam.
