Species : Grey Peacock Pheasant

Though the Grey Peacock Pheasant is supposed to be easily seen at Mae Wong NP, it proved otherwise for me. The calls were heard many times from multiple locations, enticingly close . After about of 7 hours of wait in the hide, braving the "koon" fly bites, this female bird appeared from the valley down below ( in the company of Rufous-throated Partridge) and gave very close views...
