(delhibirdpix) Vijay Sethi's much debated warbler photographed at Basai on 2/2/14

The interesting online discussion seems to have petered out some time ago although Vijay added fuel with two further pics of the bird.

Although in a minority, I remained convinced it was a Moustached (mainly on bare part coloration, the upperparts and the effects of moult) so as I had never seen this plumage before I embarked on more detailed research.

I don't want to overburden all recipients with my findings so have attached them as a 9 page Word document (the first 3 pages contain Vijay's pics for ease of reference). Thus those interested can read it at leisure.
