(delhibirdpix) Painted Sandgrouse -Asola- 29-3-14

  I first sighted this beautiful but very secretive & shy bird in Bhatti Mines  in 2010 . If I am not wrong Col Sangwan & Soma were with me when the sitting  pair flew right in front of us .Later on 16.june 2011 ,later on  4 individuals at Asola on 26 October with Sajeev & KB . They never gave any chance to photograph them. Sajeev  kept  chasing them and finally got a pic of both male and female.  We were also after them for a long time and finally got some record shots of this solitary male on Saturday .
