Shortly out of Trashigang, we were lucky to spot this beauty as it flew across the road in front of our vehicle. It settled on the adjacent rock face for a few minutes, feeding in the mud and near the rocks, and occasionally flicking out its wings to show the lovely pattern which is otherwise hidden. near Trashigang (eastern Bhutan), 2 April 2014.
