Status: Least Concern
Remarks: A small wave of Pin-striped Tit Babblers (Macronous gularis rubicapilla), a White-browed Piculet (Sasia ochracea), Striated Yuhinas (Yuhina castaniceps plumbeiceps), Grey-throated Babblers (Stachyris nigriceps), Nepal Fulvettas (Alcippe nipalensis nipalensis), moving furtively in the verdurous foliage of broadleaved trees and bamboos, descended on the clumpy florets. Amongst them this lone Grey-headed Parrotbill exploring the nodal flowers for tender seeds, choosy over his selection, was unmindful of our presence and close proximity.
