(delhibirdpix) The Commoners - # 135.03 - Common Hoopoe (Upupa epops) - 2014-226

A Common Hoopoe from  the new found birding area at
Kherli-Hafijpur-Balaspur further S-E of Delhi (about 50 kms).

Greater Noida, U.P., India on 7th June 2014.

Not easy to catch it with  Crown full open - normally does when landing

or taking off - but there was a pair and both feeding and with Crown Open

long enough for one to take an image.
