Dear friends,
A lifer after quite sometime. I was eager to see this bird in Sikkim as there has not been many photographs of this species from this place. I was duly rewarded on my third trip to this LITTLE LADAKH.
Date: 30 July 2014
Location: North Sikkim, 15000 ft.
Habitat: Open steppe, Trans-Himalaya
Behaviour: Sighted a pair which were busy in driving away an intruder in the form of Mountain weasel which had ventured close to there nesting burrows; on succeeding got busy in feeding on larvae.
