(delhibirdpix) White-browed Fulvetta.

A lovely Lifer from Sikkim----

During my stay at Okhray-8000 feet in west Sikkim, I searched for this species in vain. But as soon as i reached Hilley which is located at an altitude just 1000 feet higher-- this bird greeted me. It was flitting inside the bush just beside my resort. I rushed to my room and took out my camera as fast as i could, but by that time it had already vanished. I waited for some time, but it didnt turn upt.

Daylight was fading and strong cold wind was blowing outside. The surrounding areas were gradually being covered by a dense veil of clouds. So i entered the resort room anticipating to get the bird next day morning.
I woke up at 5am and went out with my camera in search of this tiny fellow. Fortunately the species was again spotted in the bamboo thickets. This individual seemed to be very inquisitive and it came so close, that I got some full frame shots. I was literally surprised to find that birdlife in the hills varies to such a great extent. with a little difference in the altitude.

Species: White-browed Fulvetta.

Location: Hilley. Sikkim.
