We explored this area essentially for Sarus Crane and indeed found a great area.
So far six nests - one possibly hatched (the first one, could not be seen - the eggs
hatched and the Sarus moved away to the feeding areas or got washed away but
there were no remnants left) , three still with eggs and two in the process of building
up.
This pair showed the typical behaviour seen at the time of building of the nest with
the male predominantly digging the nesting material and the female making the nest.
The Video link below shows this behaviour and also we can see a pretty good number
of Migratory Waterfowl that was not seen last week.
