(delhibirdpix) The Commoners - # 44.106 - Sarus Crane (Grus antigone) - 2014-288

The newly found Wetland is most probably going to rock the coming season despite 

very limited rain.

We explored this area essentially for Sarus Crane and indeed found a great area.

So far six nests - one possibly hatched (the first one, could not be seen - the eggs

hatched and the Sarus moved away to the feeding areas or got washed away but 

there were no remnants left) , three still with eggs and two in the process of building

up.

It was good to see two Juveniles chasing each other and frolicking in the Wetland.
