(delhibirdpix) Bean Goose : a blind shot

Hello All,

A blind shot of the Bean Goose, Anser fabalis rossicus at Mansarovar Lake (not Mangalsar Dam as we found out), Sariska National Park, Alwar District, Rajasthan, India on 23rd February 2015.

Dilip Pandit and I kept clicking all the clusters of Greylag Goose and only today I realized that I had captured the Bean Goose.

Our second session was thwarted by one forester who with a loud and threatening voice asked us not to boat as this was a sanctuary area.

We retorted:
1) There wasn't anyone to tell us to get permissions.
2) No signboard present notifying the sanctuary.
3) There is a resort springing up right at the edge of the lake where we parked our car.
4) That he was very loud and indecent in stopping us from taking bird pictures.

The scared boatman refused to go in the lake after this and we had to return.

Chrz anyway,

Devashish Deb
