(delhibirdpix) Brooks's Leaf Warbler, New Delhi

Place: Near AIIMS, New Delhi

A pair of birds was seen fly-catching from a few short trees. These are probably on passage and will stay a couple of days before heading north. Their behaviour was very active and but since I was a good 15-20 meters away, my presence was not heeded to.

This was identified on the basis of prominent crown stripe, dark sides to crown and brighter plumage when compared to other leaf warblers.
