Remarks: This Booted Warbler was seen preening and basking in the early morning sun. It was rather obliging and remained perched on a partially concealed branch for 4-5 minutes. These are rather scarce but regular passage migrants in NCR and I've spotted it once before at this location, in March 2012.
Had a good day of birding today with sightings of a surprisingly high number of Wood Sandpipers in breeding plumage, Blue Tailed Bee Eaters and some Indian Golden Orioles. Today morning's complete list of 64 species is here:
