Common Ringed Plover

Location- Pong Lake, H.P. India
Common Ringed Plover can be seen from late April till early May in Pong Lake. They are regular passage migrant in Pong Lake.
Two individuals were seen at different places about 2.5 km apart. There was a difference of behavior between these two individuals. one was very territorial and stayed in the same patch for the whole day and was chasing away any small wader that was coming near it and other was shy and kept on changing its location.
