(delhibirdpix) The Commoners - # 179.01 - Indian Spot-Billed Duck (Anas poecilorhyncha) - 2015-075

I was quite surprised that I did not have a reasonably good shot of
Indian Spot-Billed Duck - one of the most common and also a beautiful
birds found in India, practically all over.

I discovered it when my grand-daughter, Advika, wanted a photograph
of this bird for a Poster that she was making as part of her studies.

Have started making amends and henceforth the bird would be on
priority one for shoot.

Here is a Male from Dhanauri Kalan, 50 KMs SSE of Delhi, Greater Noida,
U.P., India on 19th April 2015

Cheers.
