(delhibirdpix) The Migratory Waders - # 13.18 - Spotted Redshank (Tringa erythropus) - 2015-067

Compared to when the Dhanauri Kalan Wetland was discovered on 31st May 2014,
the water levels are way too low.  Very limited number of birds.  Time for some
special treats like Spotted Redshank in Breeding Plumage where the bird can be
described in "Mills and Boon' type as TDH - Tall, Dark and Handsome.  There is just a
single bird at the Wetland and it is yet to assume its 'full TDH' status - may be another
week or two.  Dadri produced a few such TDHs in May last year - this year, of course,
Dadri is dead.

Taken on 14th April at Dhanauri Kalan, 50 KMs SSE of Delhi, Greater Noida,
U.P., India.

Cheers.
