(delhibirdpix) Tawny Eagle

Tawny Eagle  
Place - Desert National Park, Jaisalmer
Date - 05th Feb.2015

As we were driving in Desert, we saw this carcass of a Lamb & Tawny Eagle standing on & eating it. Eagle was not allowing Egyptian Vultures, which were around, to come anywhere near to carcass. I got some good shots of this majestic Eagle eating the carcass, but thought of sharing this, when Eagle just left the carcass, after he was done with it. Then the Egyptian Vultures gathered in... Huge size, amazing wing span... these large Eagles (aquila) are always fascinating...
