[BirdPhotoIndia] Fire-tailed Myzornis

Hi,

After some heavy rain and winds that we thought would blow away our flimsy little shed there was some snow, remember going off to sleep praying that we would still have the roof on us when we woke up the next morning. Peeping out of the window as I stumbled out of bed woke me up with a start, the whole mountain was white draped in a thick sheet of snow. And there was more, one step outside and had a mighty slip (a condition that would continue for most of the morning), all the steps were well coated with ice, so was the whole road below and our vehicle seemed buried in snow! One look to the sight below put paid to all visions of seeing a Blood Pheasant on a drive that was not to be.
A few minutes and a lot of effort made it to the edge of the road and while wondering despondently if we would see any birds at all in such weather saw some finch sized birds getting into the bare bushes ahead. But some of them looked green.. Peering through the bins confirmed the thought I was trying to push back, Fire-tailed Myzornis!! A full flock of them.
This initiated a scramble over the frozen road falling and mostly sliding to a point 100m ahead, what followed later was probably the most blessed part of the trip (which itself says a lot). A conference with nineteen, yes 19 Fire-tailed Myzornis over the next nearly 20 mins as they gathered and probably warmed up while yelling at each other. I was glued to the same spot all this time (the ice being just one of the reasons) getting my eyeful of these delightful birds.
