Enroute from Tenga to Mandala, a roadside sighting of a male Crimson-breasted Woodpecker brought our vehicle to a halt. As we watched, the male pulled out an insect from the tree trunk. Immediately a female flew in, and started displaying across him, and was promptly offered the catch. 31 May 2015.
