Another good Birding Area is now lost to 'Development' - on Way to and around Hasanpur

Lake in Ghaziabad.

All the low lying fields have been filled up somewhat and signage have come up all

around for X or Y Estate.  The Reed areas are all gone.  Around the Lake, there is

now planted 'Water Chestnut' a lot earlier than is customary - commercial crops are

taking over.

Nicely tarred roads have come on the 'Pushta Roads' running along the Canals and

reeds are almost gone.

RIP Hasanpur.

Highlight was Weaver and the sighting of 5 Pied Cuckoos.
