A road off Lava leads to Lolaygaon which is 27 km away and at a lower altitude than Lava. A few kilometers down this road gave a few birds like the Yellow-browed Tit and Himalayan Cutia, the latter a flock of a dozen or so birds which preferred to stay high up on the tree not letting on where they were - neither from their movements nor their calls.
