Species: Aberrant Bush Warbler (Cettia flavolivacea)

Remarks: Habitat: Thick scrub undergrowth and tall grass alongside a nullah (stream). Overcast sky this morning which progressed to a partly sunny one, after an entire day of incessant rain; although a handful of plump clouds did distort the sunshine every now and then. Soon after the frail sunshine received a chance to fall upon the dew-soaked, bedraggled scrub-grass, the mist ethereally evaporated, with each vapour carefully forming synchronized upward movements visible midair. After the enacted drama of the vapourised moisture, insect activity soon rose to critical levels when they dared to enter my ear-canals from either ends. Few moments into observing bird activity, heard erratic alarm calls and sensed movement from within a universe of tall grass and adjoining scrubby bush, which helped to locate the warblers. Found two individuals here boldly hopping around the bush at an arm's length. A surprising glimpse of the Grey-sided Bush Warbler at close quarters and from the same bush as well! A flock of Ashy Prinias were foraging here too. Around 9 AM. The angle of the bird's perch makes its tail appear shorter in this photograph.
