Hi,
Rufous-gorgetted Flycatchers were ubiquitous at Gairibas. Often we saw them , unlike most of the other birds, to descend on the ground right in front of us , in search of insects. They were quite fearless in that respect too. This bird gave a good thrashing to the creepy creature before gulping it down.If we can assume, the degree of satisfaction is directly proportional to the degree of inflation of its belly , we can very well understand how happy it was after that sumptuous meal.Kindly view my next posting for that. Though the fourth picture is not so sharp , I can not resist myself from posting that just to prove my point :-).
Regards,
Maitreyee
