It was, therefore, heartening to see and hear the nesting by three pairs of Sarus at different locations this season. Indeed, it was a great experience to see on Sarus sitting on its Egg (Dadri); and another chick would possibly have materialised right in front of me had I waited at the spot where the Sarus was sitting in incubating position and a while later when I returned, the chick was seen (Hasanpur); and the third was the report in end August of a nest seen and a few days later the nest not being there but two chicks materialising (Sultanpur).
Been pining to see the Sutanpur chicks, which are now no longer chicks but as tall as the Parents. Would say about three months old now.
