A female maroon oriole braved the wrath of the spangled drongos and spent the whole morning on the silk cotton tree. I could get some record shots by climbing a steep path which gave me an eye level view of the proceedings albeit from quite a distance. Never saw the male. This was shot 3 March '11 at Ivy Lodge, outskirts of Dehradun.
Cheers,
Garima
