Hi,
Yet another shot of Himalayan Monal taken near Tungnath,Uttarakhand,India on 10th April'11.
While editting these images, I am facing a problem. I can not reduce the file size unless I opt for low quality image. Due to very inclement weather and the fact that the bird was quite far from me ( roaming in the alpine meadown down below) I could not take sharp images in the first place and now if I go for poor quality image there would much more noise. So I stick to lowest stage in the medium quality but as my original files are quite big ( I do not take pics in Raw but only in Jpeg) , nearly 8-9 Mb, it becomes very hard for me to stay within the prescribed limit of 200Kb. In this case also the same thing happened and I have marginally crossed the limit.Kindly excuse me for that.
In this picture, I found there is a small white patch or blank space right above the base of the upper bill of the bird that was not visible from a distance and I found it interesting and wanted to show it to you.
Thanking you,
Maitreyee
