(delhibirdpix) Flameback and Monarch- CKBS

Hi
visited CKBS today at around 10am in search of the passage migrants and summer visitors. The heat was just unbearable, and the high humidity worsened the condition. But it was really an enriching experience to do birding n butterfly-ing in the company of Mr.Subhankar Patra and few other enthusiastic members of Prakriti Samsad (whom I met there).
We cudnt find the Blue-winged leafbird today inspite of our long wait near the office. But a pair of Paradise Flycatchers - rufous male and female made our day. This is perhaps the Paradise Flycatcher sighting of this year. (I may be wrong)

Sharing shots of female Greater Flameback and female Black-naped Monarch taken today.

regards
Shantanu.
