Hi,
These images are from my old stock. After Arka,Amit and Debapratim's beautiful shots I did not dare to post my record shots of a Golden Eye those I took at Gajaldoba,North Bengal, India on 18.1.11. Two days back, I was just casually looking through these images when one particular bird caught my attention..the bird that was flying at the lowest level. It was markedly different from the other Tufted Ducks. It seems its shape of head was different, the bill was finer and there were definite marks on its flanks. Could there be any remote chance of it being a Baer's Pochard then ?
Experts kindly comment. I am sorry for the poor image quality .I am attaching another shot of it in my next posting.
Thanks,
Maitreyee
