(delhibirdpix) ID Duck

Saw this wintering duck at Lodhi Gardens this morning. At first it was bobbing in the water away from the Spot Billed Ducks that also inhabit the water body. After spotting me it made its way to the side of the lake and started preening.

Looks like the juvenile of some species. Request help in ID
