(delhibirdpix) The Commoners - # 105 - Collared Falconet (Microhierax caerulescens) - 2010-083

Sighting a Tiger in the Wild is perhaps on everyone's wish-list - very
high on mine. All attempts so far have not yielded success (partially
my fault since I have not gone to the area where the sighting is more
or less assured).

Did not get to see even in this 8th attempt at the Corbett Tiger
Reserve.

Quite a few birds from the wish-list did oblige though.

Here are a few images of Collared Falconet taken in difficult
photographic conditions - 6PM +, poor light, 640 ISO, Use of a TC and
so on. The best I could retrieve in PS.
