April, 2010 at Dibrugarh, Assam. I think we may have a resident pair here. I am quite puzzled. The books that I am consulting show this to be a winter visitor, but I have observed here that their numbers increase in this particular period. Is this their migration path? They also seem to be in their full breeding plumage. I hope the experts will shed some light.
BTW this particular bird is perching on an iron roller used to level our lawns.
