Dear All.
During my recent visit to Corbet TR sighted Pied Crested Cuckoo during the evening safari on 27.05.10. Ssighting this bird is synonymous to advent of Monsoons. We sighted this bird in the Dhikala Chaur and during the night it rained heavily. No wonder it is called the "harbinger of rains".
