distinct possibility of seeing one, then all the rest fade in to deep
background. So it was our experience. Spent a full day, almost 7
hours, looking for the elusive Tiger and yet no sign of it.
Something had to give. Next day, as we found our way towards a Tiger,
this guy just sat on the cross-roads. Possibly so relaxed since a
Tigress had just went past it a few minutes ago. It let us come near
enough for this frame and also to notice the wet pugmarks, which when
followed gave me my first Tiger.
Am obliged to this bird, therefore. Also, a Lifer image - having seen
it years ago in Raipur.
Taken at Ranthmbhor Tiger Reserve, Rajasthan, India on 23rd may 2010
Cheers.
