a pic of Cattle Egret taken from my balcony....these birds follow the herds of cattle that graze in the fields beside my house. They pick up the insects that are disturbed by the cattle...and often collect ticks and gnats from the hides of the animals....this is a good example of mutualism becoz the birds get their food and the cattle get rid of the parasites.
