(delhibirdpix) Murti trip report

Dear Friends

Yesterday we went to Murti for a week end family trip. This year monsoon is favourable for Sub-Himalayan West Bengal. Almost every day we are getting rain. Normally rain starts here in the night and continues till next day 9 to 10 am. As usual yesterday rain started in the night. But I am lucky enough, in the morning when I wake up, it was not raining. But weather condition was not favourable for photography. I have started my morning birding with a great disappointment. But as soon as I crossed the river  Chestnut-bellied Nuthatch (4 Nos.) welcomed me from the road side tree. Within 2-3 minuted 3 nos. Fulvous-breasted Woodpecker joined with them. As I approached towards Khunia I found-
